Boyd Willat

Boyd Willat is a multifaceted entrepreneur, inventor, restaurateur, real estate designer/developer and movie producer.

He developed the award-winning home/office lifestyle concept, with its signature separate entrances for residence and office spaces. The concept was introduced in the 14-unit, Mediterranean-style Isola Bella complex in Hollywood. 7 Fountains is Willat’s second project to showcase the seamless combination of home and office.

Following an 8-year career as a motion picture art director/set designer, Willat designed the highly popular DayRunner™ personal organizer in 1980, which maintains its position as a brand and market leader. He also designed the Sensa™ pen, which is heralded as the “world’s most comfortable pen.”

Willat co-founded The Matthew Kenney Group with Master Chef Matthew Kenney, and has launched high-profile New York eateries including Canteen, Matthews, Commune and Metrazur in Grand Central Station.
